It was in this room that the dignitaries of Naples were presented with crowns, fleeces, caps, sceptres and other royal insignia.

These dignitaries were then required to wear their decorations during official ceremonies.

Its ceiling, painted in 1738 by Francesco de Mura, features allegories of the virtues of Charles of Bourbon and Maria Amalia.

His Neo-Baroque furniture dates from the first half of the 19th century.

The doors in this room, like all those in the palace, were painted in the 18th century.

They feature decorative elements painted on a gold background with grotesque motifs in the Pompeian style.

It is believed that they were painted by A. Dominici.

In this same room, one can see a large painting by Massimo Stanzione “The Taking of the Habit by Saint Ignatius”.

The furnishings include candlesticks, clocks, bronze vases, as well as four Chinese vases, the two largest of which are believed to have been presented by Tsar Nicholas I to Ferdinand II.

In the third antechamber of the Royal Palace of Naples there are two large tapestries by Étienne Lanier, produced in 1724 by the French Royal Manufactory.

One of them depicts the abduction of Proserpina, which refers to the allegory of fire.

The room is furnished with gilded wooden furniture and mirrors, and large Sèvres porcelain vases featuring floral motifs created by Giovine in 1842.
